Community Offerings for Autistic Writers
Monthly
Once a month, I bring in a member of my autistic writing community to share their expertise with other autistic writers. Recent or upcoming topics include publishing journalistic nonfiction, writing poetry while autistic, writing for auditory media, and self-publishing.

Autistic Ink on WhatsApp
Many of us struggle with real-time communication, so fostering text-based nonsynchronous community is a big deal. This is a low-pressure way for us to learn from each other as neurodivergent writers. Email chris@divergentauthorship.com to request an invite link.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
A low-cost, low-commitment way to have a few other writers look over your writing. We'll devote a 20-minute slot entirely to your piece. You'll get the opportunity to let us know what kind of feedback you need and to read part of your work aloud, and we'll weigh in.

Each Instant Workshop begins with some basic guidelines about giving feedback that genuinely helps your fellow writers.
Monthly
This group developed from interfaith dialogue with my good friend Matthew Lawrence, the #ActuallyAutistic Coach! Registration is on Matthew's website.

I also sometimes host book clubs covering related topics. Email me for more information.
